ServiceNow Platform Architect

## Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Platform Architect / Senior Developer to provide technical leadership for our ServiceNow platform while actively designing and developing enterprise solutions. This role is responsible for platform architecture, technical governance, solution design, and complex development across multiple ServiceNow products. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to mentor developers and influence platform strategy.

## Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform.

• Lead solution design for complex initiatives spanning multiple ServiceNow applications.

• Design and develop advanced flows, custom applications, integrations, and platform capabilities.

• Establish development standards, governance, and architectural best practices.

• Review solution designs and code to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Lead platform upgrades, new product implementations, and technical roadmaps.

• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the ServiceNow team.

• Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities, AI features, and platform innovations.

• Drive automation initiatives that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

• Support complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture teams on cross-platform initiatives.

## Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• 7–10+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.

• 5+ years designing and developing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform architecture.

• Strong experience with REST APIs, authentication methods, and enterprise integrations.

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform governance and upgrade strategy.

• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring development teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• Certified Implementation Specialist certifications in one or more ServiceNow products.

• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (preferred but not required).

• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SPM, Security Operations, HRSD, and Employee Center.

• Experience with AI, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, and enterprise automation initiatives.
