Front Desk Customer Service/Recruiter Assistant | Part-Time | Covington, KY | $18/hr

AtWork Personnel is a local, family-owned staffing company looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Customer Service / Recruiter Assistant to join our Covington team.

If you enjoy helping people, providing excellent customer service, communicating professionally on the phone, utilize various computer programs, and staying organized, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for candidates and visitors entering our office. You’ll provide a positive experience for candidates while also supporting our recruiting team with onboarding, administrative tasks, and candidate communication.

What You'll Do

• Welcome candidates and visitors with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for candidates
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette
• Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, applicants, clients, and team members
• Assist candidates with the onboarding process, including paperwork, ID verification, E-Verify, background checks, drug testing, and payroll setup
• Maintain accurate candidate records and scan/upload documents
• Enter and update information accurately in staffing and computer systems
• Assist recruiters with calling qualified candidates, following up with applicants, and scheduling interviews
• Respond to emails and other incoming communications in a timely and professional manner

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people
• Professional and confident phone presence — comfortable answering phones and speaking with a variety of people
• Friendly, approachable, and welcoming personality
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, email, data entry, and online systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Previous office, customer service, recruiting, or staffing experience is helpful, but not required
