This role is for that person.
A real estate services company in Lexington, Kentucky is looking for an Escrow Officer and Settlement Agent to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing, funding, disbursement and recording. You will be embedded inside a real estate office with direct access to producing agents giving you a built in referral pipeline from day one.

What you will be doing:
- Managing a pipeline of residential and commercial title transactions from opening through funding and closing
- Reviewing title commitments and resolving title defects, liens, judgments and other title issues
- Preparing title, escrow, settlement and closing documents
- Coordinating with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and attorneys throughout the transaction
- Conducting real estate closings independently
- Developing relationships with real estate agents and loan officers to generate repeat and referral business
- Participating in agent meetings, trainings and business development activities
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state and company title and escrow requirements
What you need to bring:
- Three or more years of title and escrow officer or settlement agent experience
- Strong knowledge of the complete real estate closing process from opening through recording
- Experience reviewing title commitments and resolving title issues
- Certified Notary Public required
- Licensed Title Insurance Agent preferred or willingness to obtain licensing within 90 days
- Commercial title and closing experience is a plus
- Comfortable developing business relationships with realtors and lenders
