IT Systems Analyst (2 Years Fixed Term Contract)

Job Summary:**

PTC Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems to support business operations and enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
* Design, configure, and implement new IT systems and applications, as well as enhance existing ones, adhering to established best practices and company standards.
* Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems, resolving issues promptly and minimizing downtime.
* Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other IT professionals to ensure successful project delivery and system integration.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
* Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users on new and existing systems.
* Participate in the evaluation and selection of new software and hardware solutions.
* Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Job Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
* Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
* Strong understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
* Experience with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
* Familiarity with network concepts and infrastructure.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CBAP) are desirable.
