Global IT & DATA Management Trainee

Your role and responsibilities

The IT & Data Management Trainee Program at TVH is an advanced, entry-level position where you will have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to digital transformation projects via various assignments in the IT and Data department. You will get to know the company from the inside, build a broad base of knowledge and skills while developing an extensive internal network of colleagues, positioning you for future leadership opportunities.

In this 2 year international developmental role - after a 1 month onboarding process to familiarize yourselves with TVH and its IT & Data team - you will carry out 4 assignments in different disciplines of the IT & Data department. The assignments will consist of a mixture of more content driven assignments (e.g. functional analysis, product ownership & architecture in specific business domains) and more governance related assignments (e.g. project & portfolio management, mergers & acquisitions, transformation programs). You'll also have the opportunity to work on an international project at one of our TVH locations abroad.
You will receive comprehensive support and training to ensure your progress in both personal and professional development. You will be given on-the-job guidance from senior IT management and you’ll have the ongoing support of a personal mentor throughout the traineeship. During the course of the traineeship we mutually determine the best fit for your next role, to strategically position you to further build your career within TVH IT.

Essential functions for this role include:

• You will gain knowledge of general company & IT & Data specific policies, protocols, and processes.

• Through job assignments in various teams in the IT & Data organization in Belgium and in the US, you will be exposed to several facets of TVH’s business operations via your participation in and contribution to digital transformation projects and IT operations, and this from a content perspective and governance perspective.

• You are willing to work in a variety of job assignments to learn processes.

• You will use analytical and critical thinking skills to apply to assigned duties.

• You will be exposed to various training & development programs.

• You have a solution-oriented, proactive approach and dare to take responsibility.

• You are ambitious and want to work in a dynamic international environment.

• You are a freshly graduated master, preferably in engineering, (information) technology, economics, business,... If you have a max of 2 years experience, you are also welcome to apply.

• You have a strong affinity for and sound understanding of IT and digitalization and how this is essential to run our company processes.

• You are open to travel or willing to relocate for 4 to 6 months (probably US).

• Fluency in Dutch and English.

• Result-driven.

• Positive can-do attitude, critical and responsible.

• Strong organization and planning skills.

• Striving for continuous improvement.

• A self-starter with a good sense of responsibility and initiative.
