SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

Job Summary:

Summary

 

Coordinates the Central Supply Warehouse activity to provide and distribute inventory supplies to all hospital locations as well as to offsites within the SJN corporation.

                                                                                                                                                           

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.

·         Coordinates Central Supply staff as well as performing the role of Supply Technician.

·         Liaison to clinical and non-clinical departments to facilitate product and support from the Central Supply as well as some direct supplies when needed.

·         Computer experience with current software including, but not limited to requisitioning, charging, labels for barcodes and scanner performance.

·         Requisitioning role to determine what supplies are needed, following the software system, but also using knowledge to determine if extra product is needed. Correcting computer inventory counts when needed as well to enhance the software system’s base counts.

·         Participates in yearend inventory.

·         Interacts with Supervisor and Director of department for enhanced employee knowledge and communication as well as with hiring new employees to Central Supply.

·         Other duties as consistent with this role.

 

Job Requirements

 

Job Knowledge and Skills

·         3-5 years Warehouse and/or Hospital experience

 

Education and Experience

·         High School diploma or equivalent preferred

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

 

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.  Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.

Comp Range:

$18.62 - $25.64
