Performance Marketing Specialist - 6 month fixed term contract
- Own customer acquisition across paid and organic channels
- Drive growth through campaign optimisation, CRO and experimentation
- Salary: $110k - $115k + super
We’re working with an Australian fintech that helps customers access loans. They’re looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist to drive acquisition, improve conversion and make every marketing dollar work harder.
The Opportunity
This six-month fixed-term contract offers ownership of campaigns across paid search, paid social, SEO and affiliate partnerships.
Reporting to the Growth Marketing Lead, you’ll combine campaign execution with data analysis to improve acquisition efficiency. You’ll work closely with product, data and design teams, as well as external agencies, with scope to test new ideas and explore AI tools and automation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will focus on three key areas:
Customer acquisition and channel performance
Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across paid and organic channels. Manage budgets and external agencies, using performance insights to improve acquisition costs and customer growth.
Conversion and experimentation
Build and execute a CRO and A/B testing roadmap across landing pages and application funnels. Work with internal teams to turn insights into improvements to the customer journey.
Measurement and optimisation
Track campaign and funnel performance, maintain dashboards and support reliable conversion tracking. Use the data to inform channel investment, targeting and campaign decisions.
About You
You’re a hands-on digital marketer who enjoys both running campaigns and understanding what drives their results. You’re comfortable making decisions, testing ideas and explaining your recommendations through data.
You’ll also bring:
- At least 3 years’ experience in digital, performance or growth marketing, ideally within fintech, lending or financial services from either agency or in-house environments.
- Strong experience across SEO and SEM, exposure to affiliate marketing would be a bonus.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Ads and GA4, with working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and experiments, with measurable acquisition or conversion improvements.
