Role summary:The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, leads the development and execution of compliance strategies within the Regulatory Impact and Response team. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, conducting gap analyses, leading regulatory impact assessments, and advising leadership on compliance risks. The position requires managing policy development, overseeing research on legislation and regulatory trends, deep dives on product and program capabilities, and driving prioritization conversations.
About the team:
The Regulatory Impact and Response team oversees all earnings-related regulatory impacts affecting the Spark business. This team leads the assessment and management of compliance risks by monitoring laws and regulations, conducting gap analyses, and developing policies to ensure adherence. They provide strategic recommendations to leadership, manage regulatory forecasts, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The team fosters collaboration across business units to address compliance challenges effectively while maintaining high standards of governance and ethics. Their work ensures the organization remains aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives.
What you'll do...
- Direct compliance and ethics consistency by addressing inquiries, monitoring regulations, and updating policies with leadership input.
- Lead research on laws, regulations, and policies to identify gaps and develop strategic compliance solutions.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to senior leadership, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Manage legislative assessment strategies, forecasting regulatory trends, and prioritizing relevant legislation impacts.
- Oversee impact assessments and provide expert recommendations on regulatory and policy developments.
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance.

- Extensive experience in governance, compliance strategy, and regulatory compliance within complex business environments.
- Proven ability to lead compliance risk management initiatives, including gap analysis and policy development.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey compliance information and influence senior leadership.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
