Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you build our platform that makes complex AI technology accessible to our users, from data annotation to model training. You design the backend services behind it and keep them fast, stable, and secure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You design scalable backend services in Python, make the technical decisions behind them, and implement them.
• You own your services end-to-end, from requirements through design and implementation to running them in production.
• You keep production stable and fast, including monitoring and incident analysis.
• You work closely with frontend, machine learning, UX, and QA colleagues in agile teams (Scrum and Kanban).
• You support your team through code reviews and mentoring.
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and technology stack.
• You help shape our platform architecture and technical direction.

What you need to succeed

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable field.
• You have extensive professional experience building Python backend services for production.
• You have experience designing RESTful APIs with FastAPI.
• You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
• You apply software design patterns, testing, and engineering best practices consistently.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are open to work on-site at our Germering office on a regular basis.
