As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming environment by managing entry points, verifying access, monitoring activity, and communicating professionally with residents, visitors, and staff. You will use computer or tablet systems to document incidents and support daily operations while remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to designated site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
