Assistant Manager, Treasury & Banking

Key Responsibilities:

• • Manage daily cash position, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and cross-bank cash pooling to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
  • Monitor cash targets and optimize surplus cash transfers while maintaining adequate working capital for upcoming payment obligations.
  • Monitor bank exposure and counterparty limits, including LRAP-related controls, and support timely escalation where exposure approaches approved limits. Treasury monitoring and LRAP activities are also reflected in recent Treasury work.
  • Oversee bank reconciliation and ABRS processes, including completeness and accuracy reviews, investigation of unmatched items, month-end reconciliation, and remediation of discrepancies.
  • Manage banking relationships and coordinate banking services, payment solutions, corporate card initiatives, bank fees and service reviews.
  • Support Treasury governance, audit and compliance requirements by maintaining appropriate controls, supporting documentation and evidence.
  • Drive process improvement, automation and control enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, banks and relevant functions to resolve Treasury and banking operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience

• • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bank reconciliation, and banking operations.
  • Good command of English (especially writing and speaking)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
