Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Marketing & Proposal Specialist to join Braun Intertec Corporation at our office in Bloomington, MN. This multifaceted role combines leadership in proposal coordination and specialized expertise in proposal development combined with marketing responsibilities to ensure cohesive strategies to support our business growth. Your adeptness in proposal management, proposal creation, and marketing acumen will be instrumental in driving our firm's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development Leadership:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end proposal development process, collaborating closely with technical teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
• Manage the coordination of information gathering and content creation, ensuring the timely submission of high-quality and winning proposals.
• Lead other proposal coordinators in creation of large-scale strategic pursuits, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the proposal development process. Manage and delegate tasks to for timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Work to continuously improve proposal development processes, tools, and templates to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and best practices improve proposal submissions.

Proposal Creation and Oversight:

• Collaborate with technical teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop win strategies, strategic alignment with client requirements and competitive positioning.
• Use expertise to contribute significantly to the creation, development and organization of compelling persuasive proposal content. Craft tailored and technically sound narratives that align with client requirements and competitive positioning.
• Review and edit proposal content for accuracy, consistency, compliance with guidelines, and alignment with brand standards.

Proposal Tracking and Coordination:

• Maintain proposal documents, track proposal progress, and generate reports on proposal activity, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate the final formatting and presentation of proposal documents for submission.
• Coordinate and create presentations for shortlist interviews. Coach internal stakeholders on presentation skills and best practices.

Marketing Campaigns and Collaboration:

• Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with the firm's goals including insights to enhance marketing campaigns, lead generation, content and promotional activities
• Contribute to content creation, campaign support, and market research, to support the firm's marketing initiatives.
• Assist in creating marketing materials, such as success stories, social media content, and other collateral, showcasing the firm's expertise and services.

Data Analysis:

• Assist in maintaining databases, tracking marketing metrics, and gathering data for analysis to support marketing strategies.

Coordination and Communication:

• Facilitate communication between the marketing and communications team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and timely execution of tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in proposal management, leadership roles, and specialized contributions to high-stakes proposals within the engineering or construction sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling and technically accurate proposal content, combined with a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
• Proficiency in collaborating with marketing teams, contributing to marketing campaigns, and developing marketing content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation Range:

$80,000.00 - $119,000.00
