In this role, your primary focus will be on Linux technologies as well as VMware/Nutanix and UCS/Dell hardware Platforms. This role helps define and implement Linux Server technologies and methodologies, which will have a heavy emphasis on automation and a hybrid cloud environment with AI Code Assist, while maintaining operational excellence in multiple world class Data Center environments.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Provide day to day technology directions and operations within Infrastructure of Cisco/Dell Server, Linux and VMware platform
- IT Incident and Request handling and management within service level agreement
- Maintain IT operations by monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions
- Site expansion and global project execution
- Propose system or architectural design to improve performance, high availability, scalability and disaster recovery by innovative technologies and roadmap management
- oncall operational support and escalation
Recommended qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- Recommend English ability of TOEIC higher than 550 grades
- Major in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Management, or related fields
- Familiarity in programming skills such as Linux shell or Python, produce code with AI assisted
- Experiences and skills in data analysis tool such as Splunk
- Experiences and skills in system infrastructure architecture is a plus e.g. VMWare/Nutanix, Linux/MS solution, Network TCPIP concept, K8S/Docker/OpenShift
Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software. Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures. Controls user access and passwords. Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Monitors usage and performance. Trains personnel on system usage.
