We’re hiring a Senior Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in Moberly, MO, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Senior Accountant will work with the Accounting Manager to maintain accounting records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account roll forwards. They will collaborate with warehouse, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain an inventory count program. Key responsibilities include verifying general ledger transactions, reviewing pricing and inventory discrepancies, and assisting with bill of materials to analyze material costs and variances. Additionally, the role involves developing process documentation, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and leading other projects as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with Accounting Manager to maintain accounting records including journal entries, account reconciliations and account roll forwards
- Work with warehouse, manufacturing and purchasing teams to ensure inventory
- Contribute, expand, collaborate, and maintain an inventory count program
- Verify transactions are reported to the correct general ledger accounts
- Review pricing and inventory discrepancies
- Assist with bill of materials, set up material costs and analyze BOM related to inventory control cost of sales and all variances
- Help develop and maintain process and procedure documentation
- Cross-Departmental collaboration
- Assist and/or lead other projects, as assigned

Skills & Qualifications
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate (orally and in writing) accounting policies and procedures.
