The Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, functional, and sustainable facility environments. About the team:
The Facility Services Exterior Services team ensures Walmart locations remain safe, clean, and well-maintained through seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice control, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. This team manages repairs, coordinates third-party providers, and implements cost-effective solutions while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Focused on operational excellence and compliance with company policies, the team supports continuous improvement and professional development. Their collaborative efforts maintain quality and safety standards, contributing to a positive environment for associates and customers across all facilities.
What you'll do:

• Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, snow and ice management, and equipment operation in compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations to maintain service quality.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment, ensuring operational safety and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Home Office to standardize tools, reduce costs, and implement sustainable facility upgrades.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, including exterior services and seasonal upkeep.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize work assignments, and oversee budgets effectively.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.
• Competence in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and customer service resolution.
• Experience coordinating with third-party providers and managing workforce needs.
• Proficient in sourcing materials, equipment, and controlling costs through price comparisons.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
