The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior facility maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. About the team:
The Facility Services Exterior Services team ensures Walmart locations remain safe, clean, and well-maintained through seasonal exterior maintenance such as snow and ice control, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. This team manages repairs, coordinates third-party providers, and implements cost-effective solutions while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Focused on operational excellence and compliance with company policies, the team supports continuous improvement and professional development. Their collaborative efforts maintain quality and safety standards, contributing to a positive environment for associates and customers across all facilities.
What you'll do:

• Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, landscaping, and shopping cart service.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting inspections and coordinating required maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility issues, provide technical assistance, and communicate effectively with facility users to resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies while promoting operational efficiency and cost control.
• Lead third-party providers, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience managing facility services with strong organizational and project prioritization skills.
• Ability to prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimation and purchase approvals.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery, powered equipment, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service capabilities to resolve facility-related issues effectively.
• Experience leading third-party providers and conducting quality assurance inspections.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity in all work activities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
