These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

  • Serve as an escalation point for benefits-related employee inquiries, researching and resolving more complex issues and coordinating with vendors and internal partners as needed.
  • Partner directly with benefits vendors to resolve employee issues, reconcile discrepancies, monitor service delivery, and ensure timely completion of benefits-related requests.
  • Maintain the integrity of benefits data across internal and external systems through regular audits, reconciliations, and resolution of identified discrepancies.
  • Analyze benefits data and trends to identify recurring issues, opportunities for process improvement, and potential enhancements to the employee experience.
  • Support the execution of annual compliance requirements, including ACA reporting, Form 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, and applicable state and local reporting.
  • Develop and maintain benefits reports, documentation, standard operating procedures, and other materials to support effective program administration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve benefits processes, recommending solutions and supporting implementation of process improvements.
  • Provide additional support to the broader People Services and Benefits teams on reporting, projects, and other ad hoc initiatives as required.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues, interpret data, and recommend solutions.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate benefits information clearly to employees and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage sensitive or complex employee inquiries professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with benefits vendors, internal partners, and employees at various levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement practical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or a related area required.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. health and welfare benefits and applicable benefits compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting benefits programs, annual enrollment, vendor relationships, and/or benefits compliance activities preferred.
  • Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS, including reporting and benefits administration functionality, preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze and reconcile benefits-related data.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment when resolving benefits-related issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities and compressed timelines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee information with tact and discretion.
