Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst I
Location: Charlotte, Hybrid; Work onsite 2 days, Work remote up to 3 days

Business Intelligence Analyst – Role Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a strategic partner to leadership by transforming complex healthcare and operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making, process improvement, and business growth. The role combines technical data expertise with business acumen to identify trends, develop reporting solutions, automate processes, and drive operational efficiencies across the organization.
Key Focus Areas:
- Analyze and interpret large datasets from healthcare, billing, scheduling, financial, and operational systems to identify trends and opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, data models, and performance metrics using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and DAX.
- Partner with leadership to define reporting needs, prioritize analytics initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support process improvement efforts by leveraging analytics, automation, and business intelligence solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide training on reports and dashboards. Assist in evaluating external business opportunities through data analysis and revenue projections.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver, with at least 3 years of experience, who can bridge the gap between data and business operations. They possess strong analytical and technical skills while also being able to communicate findings clearly to healthcare leaders and operational stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
Success in this role requires a combination of:
- Healthcare analytics experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power BI and DAX expertise
- Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities
- Critical thinking and process improvement mindset
- Ability to translate business questions into actionable insights and recommendations
