Job Summary:
The Field Operations Manager provides leadership for the assigned locations in support of dealership services.
Core Duties
- Lead and manage a team of dealership service employees across an assigned geographic region.
- Oversee employee timekeeping, payroll submissions, and labor hour approvals.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, retrain, and, when necessary, manage disciplinary actions and terminations for installers and trainees.
- Develop and communicate daily installer schedules to maximize productivity and dealership coverage.
- Monitor film inventory levels, place inventory orders, and ensure material availability.
- Track daily dealership vehicle counts and staffing needs to align labor resources with demand.
- Conduct monthly dealership audits to verify operational compliance, service quality, inventory accountability, process adherence, and billing accuracy while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field employees and administrative teams for payroll, end-of-day reporting, warranties, pricing, and operational support.
- Review billing reports daily, research discrepancies, and ensure all logged information is accurate and compliant prior to invoicing.
- Coordinate employee onboarding at dealership locations, including system access and account setup.
- Request employees pay adjustments to maintain accurate personnel records within company systems
- Assist with warranty processing and other operational data entry as needed.
- Coordinate new dealership account setups, including hotspot administration and operational readiness.
- Manage regional expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
- Review dealership rollout documentation (Go Sheets, DRFs, and related materials) to ensure successful launches.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with dealership partners through consistent communication and service excellence.
- Communicate staffing schedules and operational updates with dealership management.
- Coordinate and support product demonstrations of XPEL Products, including DECG, Navigation Screen Protection, WPF, and Paint Protection pre-load items. Existing and non-existing accounts to further grow our territories.
- Plotter maintenance and repairs
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years working in dealership or related experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 18+ years old with 2 years of driving experience.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must meet insurability requirements under the company’s motor vehicle insurance policy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Make appropriate judgments, keeping customer service, safety, and time sensitivity a priority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift 25 lbs on occasion.
- Travel between assigned locations required
