As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
