Description
This role focuses on translating business needs into scalable AI solutions, supporting their implementation and ongoing operation, safeguarding alignment with the broader Tech & Data architecture, ensuring adherence to change management processes, and coordinating effectively with vendors and cross-functional business teams within a structured Tech & Data environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with the AI Innovation Lead to translate business use cases into scalable technical AI solutions
- Act as the technical liaison between internal teams and external AI vendors, supporting integration and implementation of third-party solutions
- Drive innovation by expanding the digital workforce, identifying automation opportunities, and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize AI systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuity in production environments
- Deep dive into system logs, API calls, and technical traces to investigate incidents and identify root causes of issues across our Tech & Data ecosystem
- Support IT change management processes, including documentation, testing, approvals, and deployments for AI solutions
- Contribute to vendor management, including coordination, performance tracking, and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, data governance standards, and ethical AI guidelines
- Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation of AI models, integrations, and third-party solutions
Qualifications / skills
- Strong passion for AI, automation, and innovation, with the ability to bridge technical depth and business understanding
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools is a plus (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, and data pipelines, including deploying and maintaining AI in production
- Journey mapping expertise: Proven ability to map complex customer journeys and identify optimization opportunities
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and third-party AI services
- Knowledge of IT change management processes (e.g., ITGC), governance, model risk, and ethical AI considerations
- Experience working with external vendors and technology partners
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across business, technical teams, and suppliers
- Organized and documentation-focused, with familiarity in compliance, audit frameworks, and Agile ways of working
