Job Title: Senior Data Analyst  (Job level P3)

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for delivering end-to-end analytics solutions by translating business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions. The role ensures that data is effectively ingested, transformed, modeled, and visualized to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This position acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical platforms, driving the implementation of analytics solutions aligned with organizational standards and governance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and refine requirements
• Translate business needs into actionable data and analytics solutions

Data Engineering & Pipeline Development

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Databricks
• Implement and manage data transformations following the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across all layers

Semantic Modeling

• Develop and maintain scalable semantic models (Power BI / Tabular)
• Design and implement star schema data models following Kimball methodologies, ensuring clear separation of fact and dimension tables, optimized performance, and usability for business reporting
• Apply advanced modeling techniques using Tabular Editor 3, including measure development, calculation groups, model optimization, and metadata management
• Ensure alignment with data modeling best practices and governance standards

Reporting & Visualization

• Design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights
• Apply best practices in visualization and user experience

End-to-End Solution Ownership

• Own the full analytics lifecycle from data ingestion to final reporting
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, reusable, and aligned with business objectives

Data Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to data quality, security, and governance policies
• Promote standardization, re-usability, and continuous improvement across analytics solutions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering analytics solutions using Databricks and Power BI
• Strong expertise in data modeling, including star schema design based on Kimball best practices, DAX, and report/dashboard development
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline development (Python / notebooks / SQL)
• Solid understanding of Medallion architecture and scalable data design
• Desirable: Experience with Tabular Editor 3 for semantic model development, including advanced measure design, calculation groups, and model optimization
• Experience translating business requirements into technical implementations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Scrum framework experience (Nice to have)
