How You Can Contribute

1. Portfolio governance and delivery health

Maintain a single portfolio register covering client projects, internal products and strategic programs, with owner, stage, milestone plan, and health status

Run plan-vs-actual analysis on scope, schedule, budget and effort; detect drift before it becomes a client issue

Operate a portfolio risk log (delivery, resource, commercial, technical) with named owners and due dates

Run the regular portfolio review cycle: [weekly/bi-weekly] project health check, monthly portfolio review with the CEO

2. Financial and resource visibility

Track budget, cost, revenue and margin by project, with contract type (fixed price / T&M / retainer) and change requests in view

Consolidate utilization, capacity and bench data with Resource Management/HR; flag over- and under-allocation, and key-person dependency

Surface commercial risks: scope creep without change requests, margin erosion, overruns on fixed-price work

Track client health signals: escalations, SLA breaches, satisfaction feedback, renewal risk

Support investment and prioritization decisions for internal initiatives (cost, expected value, capacity trade-offs)

3. Data validation and stakeholder alignment

Consolidate and cross-check updates from Jira, finance and resource systems and team reports; resolve inconsistencies before they reach executives

Align Tech, Product and Business teams on a common definition of status, milestones and health

Build trust with delivery teams so that problems are raised early rather than hidden

4. Executive reporting and decision follow-through

Own the CEO dashboard and monthly portfolio pack: health, margin, utilization, top risks, decisions required

Prepare agendas, data packs and pre-reads for leadership reviews, with clear recommendations rather than raw data

Track every decision and action item to closure; report overdue items with owner and reason

5. PMO framework and continuous improvement

Stand up practical PMO essentials first — templates, reporting cadence, and health criteria — to enable immediate delivery visibility, then refine standards based on real project data rather than upfront over-engineering

Adapt the framework to different delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), including client-mandated processes

Analyze recurring causes of delay, overrun and rework across the portfolio and propose fixes with measurable targets

What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution

Must-have

Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related). 

5+ years in PMO, Portfolio Governance, or Program Management, including 2+ years standing up or independently running a PMO function.

Experience reporting directly to CEO/C-level, translating portfolio data into decision-ready dashboards and tracking decisions/action items to closure.

Strong financial acumen in a project-based business: budget/revenue/margin tracking across contract types with ability to spot commercial risk Experience in workforce/capacity planning and utilization optimization within a delivery organization.

Proven ability to consolidate and reconcile data across PM, finance, and HR systems into a single source of truth.

Strong stakeholder influence.

Fluent English & Vietnamese.

Strong advantage

Background in IT Consultancy, Digital Transformation Agency, or Software Outsourcing.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) 

PMP or PgMP preferred; Agile certifications (SAFe, CSM, PSM) a plus.

Familiarity with E-Commerce, Loyalty, or Retail domains — a plus given a significant share of our portfolio.
