POSITION DESCRIPTION: DrinkPAK is seeking a Fixed Asset Manager to serve as the subject-matter expert for fixed asset accounting within a fast-growing, capital-intensive manufacturing organization. This role will lead the management of DrinkPAK’s fixed asset lifecycle across multiple facilities, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, compliance with US GAAP, and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting experience, excellent cross-functional partnership skills, and a passion for improving systems and processes in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
The Fixed Asset Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller and collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Legal, Warehouse, and site leadership teams.

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California, with support for multi-site fixed asset reporting and accounting activities as needed across DrinkPAK facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Fixed Asset Accounting & Reporting
Own the full fixed asset accounting lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairment reviews, retirements, and reconciliations.
Maintain the fixed asset subledger and ensure alignment with the general ledger on a monthly close cadence.
Review and validate capital project costs for appropriate accounting treatment and classification under US GAAP.
Partner with the Controller and FP&A on fixed asset forecasting and monthly reporting.
Prepare accurate fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and reporting for management review.
Ensure fixed asset transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and US GAAP.
Capital Project Collaboration and Tracking
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Site Leadership during large capital initiatives, including new equipment installations and facility expansions in Texas and Pennsylvania.
Track Construction-in-Progress (CIP) across projects and ensure proper capitalization timing as assets are placed in service.
Support capital planning and evaluate the financial impact of capital projects as part of budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Support capital budget tracking and variance analysis.
Partner with project teams to ensure capital expenditures are properly documented, classified, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
Equipment Financing & Lease Accounting
Review and support accounting for equipment leases and financing arrangements under applicable lease accounting standards.
Coordinate with Legal, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to manage external financing partners on equipment lease structures.
Maintain detailed tracking of lease terms, payment schedules, and asset classifications.
Ensure accurate accounting and disclosure for finance leases, operating leases, and embedded leases.
Support the reconciliation and reporting of leased and financed assets.
Internal Controls, Compliance & Audit
Strengthen and document fixed asset policies, procedures, and internal controls, including SOX readiness where applicable.
Prepare detailed fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
Support physical asset counting and periodic tagging processes across facilities.
Ensure appropriate documentation and controls are maintained throughout the fixed asset lifecycle.
Identify and address control gaps, accounting risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Process Improvement & Systems
Identify automation, system, and process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency within the fixed asset workflow.
Work with ERP and fixed asset modules, including NetSuite, Oracle, or similar systems, to support better reporting, tracking, and data integrity.
Assist with system implementations, enhancements, and integrations impacting fixed asset accounting.
Develop and improve reporting tools and processes to provide greater visibility into capital expenditures and fixed asset activity.
Establish standardized processes across multiple sites to support scalable fixed asset management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SAP, or similar financial tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience in a high-growth, asset-heavy industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, or private equity-backed companies) is preferred.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
