Job Description
As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. - Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial office property by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
- Monitor building access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation while supporting a welcoming and professional lobby environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
