As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and collections. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, collection areas, public spaces, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate observations with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
