YOUR PARTNER IN BUSINESS! Job Title: Senior Client AccountantLocation: Hybrid/Remote Thomas and Co International are a multi-award-winning modern cloud-based accountancy firm based in greater Manchester, shaking up the world of finance with passion, hunger and a drive to provide an exceptional service to entrepreneurs and build a team of winners that want to do the same!  Our specialty is providing entrepreneurs with deep insights into their finances to allow them to scale profitably, and tax efficiently while building generational wealth.   If you’re an ambitious professional in the accounting industry looking for an employer to finally allow you to spread your wings and fulfil your potential, then this could be the role for you! Visit our INSTAGRAM/LINKEDIN to find out more! We are seeking a skilled Senior Client Accountant to join our team, providing outstanding financial support while thriving in a collaborative and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:  Managing a small portfolio of clientsPreparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, P11d, management accounts, and accountant’s references to review stage.Reviewing Director self-assessment tax returns and client-prepared VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Managing complex client queries, identifying new service opportunities, and flag scope creep to the Client Manager.Providing feedback on bookkeeping errors, reviewing VAT returns prepared by Accounting Technicians, and ensuring timely submission.Completing delegated Xero/Dext training, and Enhancing client value through regular reviews, training and proactive insights. Required Skills/Qualifications: A willingness to learn and be receptive to honest feedback. Currently pursuing an accounting qualificationProficient in the cloud accounting app stack  Proficient in using DEXT, XERO in a practice environment Why Join Us?At Thomas & Co International, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, friendly, and supportive team.
