Shape the Future of Energy and Process Automation in Turkey as Sales Manager
Are you ready to take the lead in growing advanced automation solutions in Turkey?
In this role, you drive impactful sales that help industrial customers improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability. You work at the heart of energy transformation, turning technical opportunities into long-term partnerships. Based in Istanbul, you collaborate closely with Valmet colleagues across Turkey and Europe while owning your sales journey from first contact to signed deal.
Your responsibilities
- You drive direct and indirect sales of Energy and Process automation across Turkey and sometimes in other countries, turning opportunities into successful projects
- You build and manage a strong sales pipeline, actively forecasting and developing new business
- You identify and pursue opportunities with EPCs, partners and end clients, expanding Valmet’s market presence
- You lead consultative customer discussions, from early engagement through negotiation and contract closing
- You collaborate with product, project, and service teams in Turkey and internationally to ensure smooth solution delivery
Expectations
- You have solid experience of 5+ years in solution sales within Energy and Process Industries
- You can identify clients’ value drivers and can lead the two-way discussion, offering unique perspective to their business
- You communicate fluently in Turkish and English in both technical and commercial discussions
- You are comfortable selling technical automation solutions such as DCS and/or PLC/Scada systems
- You are willing to travel extensively within Turkey and occasionally internationally

You stay proactive in developing your pipeline and structured in managing long sales cycles. Your ability to collaborate across teams and translate customer needs into automation solutions is key to delivering results.
