Supply Chain Project Manager

The Role

Our Docklands office is the hub for our corporate functions within the Bega Group. You’ll enjoy lots of natural light and great facilities to take advantage of including a fully stocked fridge loaded with a range of Bega products! We are right next door to Marvel stadium and some of Melbourne’s best restaurants, cafes and bars.

At Bega Group, we're transforming our supply chain network through major warehousing, automation and operational improvement initiatives. As our Supply Chain Project Manager, you'll lead complex, business-critical projects from concept through to implementation, driving efficiency, innovation and long-term growth.

A key part of this role is leading a team of two direct reports, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure successful project delivery. You'll combine strong people leadership with hands-on project management, working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful change and achieve strategic outcomes.

We're looking for an experienced project leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale initiatives in complex environments. You'll bring strong analytical capability, exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence, lead teams and navigate change with confidence.

This is a permanent full-time, Melbourne-based hybrid role, with three days per week in our Docklands office and occasional interstate travel.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of complex projects across warehousing, automation, network expansion and operational transformation.
• Developing business cases, feasibility assessments, project plans and implementation strategies to support key investment decisions.
• Driving stakeholder engagement and change management activities to ensure successful project adoption and business outcomes.
• Partnering with operations, data and analytics teams, and external parties to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Leading a small team while managing project governance, risks, budgets and delivery timelines.

About you

• 7-10+ years' experience delivering complex projects within large corporate, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or supply chain environments.

• Demonstrated end-to-end project management expertise, from feasibility and business case development through to implementation and benefits realisation.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including confidence working with data and Excel to support decision-making.

• Leadership experience with the ability to coach, influence and leverage the expertise of others to deliver successful outcomes.

• Experience in warehousing, automation, manufacturing or supply chain environments will be highly regarded, although candidates with transferable project delivery experience from similarly complex industries are encouraged to apply.
