Summary:
We are looking for a highly capable Senior Coordinator to join our Financial Administration team and work from our Omaha office. Alternatively, we can also fill this role in our Albany office. We work together in the office five days a week in order to strengthen our culture, build team connections, and drive profitability.
The position reports to a Claims Manager, based in Albany. The Senior Coordinator role is responsible for making a vital contribution providing specialized financial functions to ensure efficient workflows and maintain compliance for the Claims Division.
Employees in this role are required to accurately record all hours worked and submit timesheets in accordance with company policy. Overtime may be assigned as business needs dictate, and employees are expected to work overtime when required.
This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Under limited supervision, provide complex operational support on assignments of higher-level complexity to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure 100% tax and compliance reporting deadlines are met.
- Diagnose issues, resolve inquiries, and deliver specialized support as a subject matter expert.
- Drive process improvements by analyzing and enhancing operational practices, including workflow, documentation systems, and performance standards. Implement approved solutions.
- Prepare and deliver reports, supply business-critical materials, maintain and report accurate tax-related documentation, and ensure reconciliation of various lines of business.
- Promptly respond to telephone calls and emails in order to maintain accurate and up-to-date files.
- Responsibilities encompass, among other duties: OFAC, Positive Pay, Policy Verification, Unclaimed Property and Escheatment processes.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Advanced knowledge of operational support in the insurance or finance arenas, policies and procedures as well as an exceptional customer service focus through:
- A High school diploma or a GED and 6 years’ administrative or related experience; or
- A vocational or technical education with several years of relevant work experience; or
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Being extremely detail oriented.

- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize workload while handling multiple tasks and deadlines.

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
- Albany Pay Range: $47,022 - $64,566
