Contracts Manager

Description
- Visit policyholders and other stakeholders to assess damage, prepare schedules of repair and agree scopes of work.
- Manage insurance repair projects from initial survey through to completion.
- Prepare costings, valuations and contract documentation using internal systems and client portals.
- Manage variations, interim valuations and final accounts.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Monitor project progress and produce accurate reports and updates.
- Manage subcontractor performance, workmanship and Health & Safety compliance.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Liaise with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with office-based coordinators to ensure effective document control and information management.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and snagging activities.
- Previous experience managing construction, insurance reinstatement, fire and flood restoration or property repair projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and building repair works.
- Experience preparing project costings, valuations and final accounts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience within insurance reinstatement or property claims environments.
- Experience reading and interpreting structural engineers' and surveyors' reports.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental management requirements.
