Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage OPEX procurement activities across Malaysia, covering FM, maintenance, facilities, utilities, and other operational services.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies, sourcing plans, tendering, and contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and value improvement.
- Manage key vendors and contracts, including performance, pricing, SLA/KPI, and commercial terms.
- Partner closely with Operations, ADM, Finance, Legal, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant procurement execution.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, DOA, governance, and audit requirements.
- Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop the OPEX procurement team across Malaysia.
- Provide procurement insights, market intelligence, and management reporting to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of procurement experience, with strong OPEX/FM/maintenance procurement exposure.
- Proven experience in tender management, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Experience in data center, facilities management, engineering, or similar industries is an advantage.
