Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Legal Assistant

LOCATION: Jay, OK

STATUS: Open

CLOSING: Until Filled

SALARY: 35,000 – 40,000

BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly. Paid holidays.      

POSITION SUMMARY: The Office of the District Attorney for the 13th Judicial District is seeking a qualified and motivated Legal Assistant to support prosecutors in a fast-paced legal environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in personal computing and office software
• Experience with case or document management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A desire to serve the public with professionalism and excellence
