The Role
Looking to build your career while delivering critical transport infrastructure across Western Australia?
As an Experienced Engineer – Roads & Highways, you'll work on a broad range of roads, highways and transport projects, supporting the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure that connects communities across Perth and the wider WA region.
Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll contribute to technical design activities and project delivery while developing your project management capabilities in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver high-quality analysis and design outcomes aligned with technical standards and client requirements
- Independently undertake key technical tasks across multiple projects
- Apply project management principles to support on-time, on-budget delivery
- Prepare technical reports and proposals for small to medium projects
- Monitor scope and project risks while effectively utilising business systems
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team environment
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1-6 years of experience in roads and highways design
- Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and specifications
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively
- A proactive, client-focused approach
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively to team success
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and business systems
- Awareness of project management, WHS management and CRM principles
- An emerging capability in safety in design and risk identification
