We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to provide direct support our government customer. You must be proficient at interpreting and applying laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures governing federal acquisitions, particularly in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, prioritizing deadlines, and communicating professionally.
Responsibilities
- Develop acquisition packages
- Recommend appropriate contract types and methods
- Track acquisition milestones and ensure timely award progress
- Advise government customers on acquisition and contracting matters
- Prepare key documentation such as market research, procurement plans, and justifications
- Review PWS/SOW for accuracy and completeness
- Analyze contracting issues and propose effective solutions, even under tight timelines
- Support team members and technical personnel with procurement processes and contractual requirements
Required
- BS or BA degree
- 10+ years of direct, relevant experience in cradle to grave DoW contracting
- Extensive knowledge of contracting for a variety of products and services for major systems, research and development (R&D), and/or complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in writing and staffing pre-award and post award related contract documentation
- Possess a robust knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have an in-scope Top Secret security clearance
Desired
- Acquisition Career Field Certifications (FAC-C Professional or DAWIA Level III)
- Direct experience as a Federal Contracting Officer
