Description
The Director of Strategic Planning will play a critical role in driving the company’s enterprise planning and business reporting cadence as the business continues to scale. This person will help bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how the organization plans, reports, and makes decisions across senior leadership forums. They will own and improve key enterprise meetings, including Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, while also supporting broader strategic planning initiatives led by the CFO’s office. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who can operate at both altitude and detail — someone who can connect the dots across functions, and improve processes and materials over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end cadence for MBRs and QBRs
- Coordinating across senior functional leaders to gather inputs, align narratives, and ensure materials are clear and decision-ready
- Improving the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of reporting materials over time
- Applying learnings from prior meetings to continuously evolve the format, content, and process
- Ensuring meetings are focused on the right business questions, performance trends, risks, opportunities, and decisions
- Supporting the development of the long-range plan in partnership with Finance and business leaders
- Running market, growth, and share analyses to help inform strategic priorities
- Synthesizing data from key internal and external sources into clear insights for the CFO and executive leadership team
- Helping translate business performance, market context, and company priorities into compelling strategic narratives
- Support in translating executive-level priorities, strategy updates, and key takeaways from MBR/QBR forums into clear, appropriately tailored communications for broader senior teams, helping maintain consistency and coherence across the organization.
- Supporting the operating rhythm around annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc planning cycles
Examples may include:
- Market sizing and market share analysis
- Growth opportunity assessment
- Cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Executive presentations and board-level materials
- Business performance deep dives
- Planning process improvements

- Experience in strategy, corporate strategy, strategic planning, business operations, or a related function
- Industry experience in a relevant consumer, retail, apparel, beauty, or high-growth brand environment
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with market, share, growth, and business performance analysis
- Familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools is a plus, with the ability to pull, interpret, and synthesize data independently across key business reporting and planning processes.
- Excellent slide-writing and executive communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and improve processes over time
- Strong project management skills and ownership mentality
