What would you do? The Learning & Development Manager (CL7) is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving learning strategies that enhance workforce capability, leadership readiness, and organizational performance. The role partners closely with business leaders, HR, and global learning teams to deliver impactful learning interventions aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements in Australia.
What are we looking for? • 16+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development roles• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale learning programs• Prior experience working with global or regional stakeholders preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education, or related field• Post-graduate qualification or certification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or HR is desirable • Strong expertise in learning strategy, instructional design, and adult learning principles• Experience with digital learning platforms, LMS/LXP, and virtual facilitation tools• Stakeholder management and consultative skills with senior leadership• Knowledge of Australian workforce regulations, DEI standards, and accessibility practices• Data-driven mindset with ability to measure learning ROI and outcomes• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills
Roles and Responsibilities: •• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of learning and development programs aligned to business strategy• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability gaps and translate them into learning solutions• Manage learning needs analysis, curriculum design, and deployment of blended learning models (digital, classroom, experiential)• Oversee vendor partnerships, external trainers, and learning platforms• Track learning effectiveness using metrics, dashboards, and impact assessments• Ensure compliance with Australia-specific workplace learning, accessibility, and inclusion requirements• Mentor L&D team members and contribute to capability building within the HR function •"Must be open to Australian shift timings: (9 am to 5 pm) Australian time"
