As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
