Summary

Our team in Sudbury is looking for a Talent & Development (HR) Coordinator!

 

Responsibilities

• Front line contact for team member questions
• Responsible for the administration of payroll and Attendance Management
• Assists in the identification and analysis of trends. Communicates observations and provides suggestions for incident reduction measures
• Participate and support in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of team members
• Employee engagement
• Events coordination – ordering items, food, set up, posters, clean up (town halls, lunches, recognition and service events)
• Investigate employee issues
• Assist with issuing discipline (such as verbal warnings) as per the CBA
• Assist with H&S and Return to Work for injured team members

Requirements

• 1-3 years of administrative or HR Admin/Assistant/ Coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Completion of HR Degree or Certification is highly preferred
• Payroll experience is an asset
• Exceptional coordination and time management skills required
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Superior organizational, administrative and project planning skills
• Self-directed with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Detail oriented
• Highly effective interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external contacts
• Able to work well with a variety of people and maintain confidentiality
• SAP, Kronos and Workday knowledge is an asset.
