This is a REMOTE role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team of internal and external resources to build a differentiated set of tools
Guide and contribute to sound technical design and architectural decisions
Consistently deliver high-quality software in usable increments
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management team members, data scientists, subject matter experts, and end users (among others) to solve complex problems and resolve disagreement with informed, rational, and practical solutions
Mentor and provide guidance especially to other technical resources
Identify, plan, estimate, execute, and track software engineering work across a large, diverse team
Grow and maintain a broad and deep knowledge of supply chain operations and associated technologies
Periodic domestic travel to meet with team members and partners
Education and Work Experience:
University degree in computer science, software engineering, or IT management
10+ years of direct software application engineering experience including at least 4 years as a software engineer and an equivalent amount of time spent leading software engineering teams
Prior work managing projects with budgets of at least $2M / year
Previous exposure to or use of supply chain concepts and associated technologies including TMS, WMS, and related systems is preferred
