Manufacturing Assistant

 

Scott Rotary Seals (SRS) of Olean, NY is looking to hire a Manufacturing Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to grow their career in a world class manufacturing company.

Manufacturing Assistant Duties

• Maintain general organization and cleanliness of facility, shelving, tools, and equipment. Clean and organize break rooms, restrooms, vehicles, parking lot, general production areas and warehouse.
• Assist with Babbitting, including part preparation, fixture changes and pouring. 
• Assist with shipping & receiving duties including preparing parts for shipment and inventory counts.
• Safely operate forklift to load/unload materials and transport product inside the production/shipping areas.
• Maintain outdoor safety and appearance through sidewalk/parking lot upkeep and maintenance to include snow and ice removal, sweeping, and minor landscape repair. 

Qualifications for a Manufacturing Assistant

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18+
• Strong computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• A high degree of mechanical aptitude
