We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Northland team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational and business leaders to support reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis across the business.
You’ll help turn numbers into useful insight, support better decisions, and lift the quality and integrity of financial information. It’s a role with real variety, real ownership, and real impact. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Support monthly accounts, reconciliations, P&L reviews and management reporting.
- Partner with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, project reviews and commercial decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis and practical insights that help teams improve performance.
- Support compliance, audit requirements, capital reporting and Accounts Payable control processes.
- Provide wider finance support across the region, including stepping in for the Finance Manager when needed.

- An appropriate tertiary qualification and CA or CPA designation.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including accounting standards, legislation and best practice.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- A proactive, accountable and collaborative approach, with sound judgement and a genuine commitment to safety, quality and doing good work.
