We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director or Director to join our Governance Services business in London. Working closely with the Managing Director and alongside colleagues across Mourant's global network, you'll play a key role in the ongoing development and management of our corporate and fiduciary services offering. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing strategic oversight, managing complex transactions and ensuring services are delivered to the highest professional, regulatory and governance standards.

About the role:
In this role you'll:
Lead the delivery of corporate and fiduciary services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of service and governance.
Build, develop and maintain trusted client relationships, proactively managing expectations and identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
Support the ongoing development of the London Governance Services business in alignment with Mourant's strategy and values.
Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across the firm on business development opportunities, client pitches and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Provide leadership, coaching and technical guidance to governance professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
Oversee the day-to-day management of team members, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
Monitor and manage financial performance indicators, including work in progress and debt management.
Identify, assess and manage client, fiduciary, tax and financial crime risks, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with the Risk and Compliance team and keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments and industry best practice. Promote a unified and coordinated approach across Mourant's jurisdictions and service lines, supporting the firm's one-firm approach.
