Project Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

Position Summary

The Project Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics is responsible for leading cross-functional projects while leveraging data analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven insights to improve operational performance and business outcomes. This role combines project management expertise with strong analytical capabilities to drive strategic initiatives, develop actionable insights, and support data-driven decision making across the organization.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, develop executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions, and partner with business leaders to translate operational challenges into measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

• Lead end-to-end execution of strategic projects and programs from initiation through deployment and sustainment.
• Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation plans.
• Drive project governance, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence initiatives.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Design, develop, and maintain KPI dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Analyze complex operational, financial, supply chain, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc analytics that provide actionable insights to leadership teams.
• Create executive-level visualizations and reporting tools using industry best practices for usability and clarity.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting platforms.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive analytical models to improve planning, forecasting, and operational performance.

AI & Advanced Analytics

• Apply AI-enabled tools and analytical techniques to automate reporting, improve data quality, and accelerate business insights.
• Leverage machine learning, statistical analysis, and automation where appropriate to support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to integrate emerging analytics technologies into business processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable analytical solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and develop reporting and analytical solutions that support decision-making.
• Translate technical findings into clear business recommendations and executive presentations.
• Train and support end users on dashboards, reporting tools, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor on metrics, reporting strategy, and operational performance management.

Process Improvement

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing data-driven methodologies.
• Standardize reporting processes, key performance indicators, and data management practices.
• Support implementation of best practices for analytics governance, project management, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management, business intelligence, data analytics, operations, or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Strong background in business analytics, reporting, and performance management.
• Experience working with large datasets and developing executive dashboards.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Strong SQL and data visualization capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI-powered analytics tools and automation technologies.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience supporting Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience developing predictive analytics or machine learning solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio).

Salary Range:

$96,000.00 - $132,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
