Location: Kettering, OH
Schedule: 8:15am to 5:00pm EST Monday - Friday
Compensation: $50,000/annually
SUMMARY
The HR Generalist I provides foundational support to the People & Culture team, assisting with routine HR functions such as employee onboarding, file maintenance, and basic teammate support. This role focuses on learning core HR processes and developing skills to support the full employee lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support new hire onboarding, including document collection and system entry
Maintain accurate teammate records and assist with audit preparation
Respond to routine teammate inquiries or direct to appropriate contact
Assist with HR reports, compliance tasks, and policy administration
Support coordination of engagement activities, trainings, or meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of HR or administrative experience
Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
