Job Description

As a Security Officer Government Experienced Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at an innovative technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, assist employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a sensitive technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
