Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Project Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategic business initiatives by partnering with Project Managers to plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects that drive business value.

You will manage smaller, low-complexity projects or workstreams while supporting larger programs, ensuring alignment with business strategies, project objectives, and organizational priorities. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will help manage project scope, timelines, risks, resources, and communications to deliver successful outcomes.

Through your project management expertise, you will contribute to operational excellence by promoting project management best practices, fostering collaboration, and helping teams achieve measurable business results.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.

• Lead smaller, low-complexity projects or workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver results within scope, timeline, and budget.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource estimates, and project documentation to support effective execution.

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and scope changes by implementing appropriate mitigation and governance processes.

• Drive effective project communications through stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and change management support.

• Facilitate project meetings, monitor project performance, and promote the application of PMI project management methodologies and best practices.

• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and strengthening project management standards across the organization.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months.

• Minimum of six years of experience supporting or managing projects in a cross-functional business environment.

• Strong knowledge and practical application of PMI Five Process Groups and Ten Project Management Knowledge Areas.

• Proven project planning, organization, risk management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience using project scheduling and project management tools, combined with strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to coach teams on project management best practices.
