This position reports to:
Operations Manager__
Your role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities across projects of varying sizes and complexities under the guidance of senior engineers. You will be responsible for completing assigned tasks in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies. You will also contribute to the engineering design process by collecting data, performing analyses, and supporting the development of technical solutions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid/on-site.
This role contributes to the SA-OPC Business Line within the Middle East region based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The position supports engineering activities and project execution while collaborating with key stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, and Business Development teams, to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve business objectives.
You will be mainly accountable for:
· Performs basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.
· Collect data and support engineering design production.
· Exercises judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & prepare relevant documentation
· Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.
· Participate in workshops related to engineering, design, tools and processes.
· Work in graphic / application engineering development in DCS
· Program, implement, test and document process control applications.
· Ability to understand control narratives, P&ID’s.
· Assists in preparing proposal / presentation of engineering projects / programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).
What it takes to Run what runs the world
· Bachelor's Degree - Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications, Electrical Engineering.
· Control Systems Experience: 3-5 years of experience with control systems. ABB systems will be an advantage.
· Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable and flexible.
· Willingness to travel & work at sites as and when required.
· Willingness to travel domestic / overseas based on project need.
