Job Description Summary
As a Plant Engineer specializing in High Voltage Substation, you will support the design, reliability, and technical compliance of whole Substation Primary Design. Working under the guidance of lead engineers, you will contribute to the development of project documentation, participate in design reviews, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives, gaining exposure to industry standards and complex power system regulations.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- As a High Voltage Substation Primary Design Engineer responsible for whole Substation Design including General Layout, Sections, HV cable routing, Civil Work Guide drawings, earthing calculation…etc., with maximize efficiency and accessibility for maintenance and operation.
- Selection for HV substation components, not only include transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and associated equipment, but also conductors, clamp, insulators and other necessary material for the overall integration, based on project requirements and specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited university or college
- Maximum 2 years of engineering experience in related activity/discipline in project & EPC type environment in HV substations.
- Up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe along with other countries/regions for short or medium period based on requirement.
- Strong oral and written in English

- Basic understanding of HV/MV substation Layout and section, earthing details and RFQ
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to troubleshoot technical design challenges.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work accurately and participate effectively in team discussions.
- High level of accuracy in performing calculations and preparing
- A team-player mentality, comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance from senior engineers.
