Job Description:

Prato 850 is looking for experienced, outgoing, and motivated bartenders to join our team!

Located in Commack, NY, Prato 850 is an Italian-inspired, American-driven gastropub known for wood-fired pizza, craft beer, signature cocktails, and a lively dining atmosphere.

We're looking for personable, hardworking individuals who are passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about cocktails and beverages, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to bar guests.
• Maintain knowledge of signature cocktails, craft beers, wines, and seasonal drink offerings.
• Take food and beverage orders and provide menu recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Process guest payments accurately and responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or high-volume bar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and a professional attitude.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well with a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must meet New York State requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
